May 2024 brings with it the exciting headline of Jupiter’s sign from Aries to Taurus. This is a huge shift that will indicate an entirely new expansion in one life area of your chart until 2025. On May 1st, Jupiter moves into Taurus, affecting those who are Scorpio rising, Virgo rising or Capricorn rising most. (Vedic system) So in the western system you’re most familiar with, if you have planets in Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo then you will feel Jupiter’s shift most!
May is a month of twists and turns, with Mars in Pisces in the vedic system until June 1st, which means for the whole month we are healing, diving deeper into our creativity. Luckily, Mercury moves from Pisces to Aries on May 10th!
This means that after May 10th, our minds should feel less weighed down with emotion, we’re lighter on our feet, less mentally wrapped up in our feelings, and more willing to get on with the show! Mercury moves into Aswini nakshatra on May 10th, which is light and quick in true Aries style, but also very healing. Mercury in Aswini for most of May will help you heal the mind and your speech. You could even transform the way you speak. May 18th we have a feisty conjunction between Mars and Rahu - so stay mindful on that date and watch out for anger. However it could be fab for sudden breakthroughs, decisions or breakups that serve your highest good. Then the days around the Full Moon on May 23rd are creative and juicy and lovely for female get togethers.
For any of you who are particularly career focussed and have the desire to deepen your commitment to your purpose, the last ten days of May are wonderful for really showing yourself who you are, and what you want. Intensity of desire and creative commitment is where it’s at. So lean into your gifts! Name what you came here to do and do it proudly.
