Key dates for the upcoming month…
October 3rd - Mercury enters Libra (Chitra nakshatra) Mercury in Libra calls for balanced speech and kindness, although Chitra is a constellation symbolised by a jewel, so this is an excellent time for honing the details on a project, and chiselling something to perfection.
October 7th - Full Moon in Pisces (Uttara Bhadrapada) This Full Moon is the first outside of eclipse season, and it’s conjunct Saturn. This means important things for anyone with Virgo or Pisces in their vedic chart. Uttara Bhadrapada is a constellation of depth, sincerity, longevity and privacy. October 9th - Venus enters Virgo Venus in Virgo is sensible, understated and sincere. Venus for this transit will oppose Saturn, bringing greater commitment and a subdued quality to our relationships. It’s a great time for signing contracts, for clarifying any outstanding issues in both personal and professional matters. We are more responsible regarding daily matters when Venus is in Virgo.
October 15th - Mercury enters Virgo. This is the sign Mercury is most happy in, which means your communication, your emails, travel plans and execution at work should become streamlined, disciplined and well understood. Mercury in Virgo is a gift, where we will become our most organised selves. This transit lasts until October 3rd. Deal with any administrative tasks and enjoy the satisfaction of this transit.
October 17th - 24th - Sun and Mercury conjunct in Libra. This time is likely to be especially busy for anyone with Aries or Libra in their chart. Expect more balanced relationship interactions and a pleasant, peaceful time. These days work well with Venus in Virgo helping to come to greater understanding with others. Mercury is in shadow however, just before a retrograde. Focus on clear communication and sincerity in all interactions for best results during this time.
October 21st - New Moon in Vishakha (LIBRA) This constellation is one of success and invigoration. Despite being in Libra, this nakshatra is really quite formidable and is ruled by Jupiter. For anyone born in 1991 - 1992, your Pluto is in Vishakha so this new moon is likely to be powerful and transformative. More details to come in your New Moon insights.
October 24th - Mercury enters Scorpio. The planet of communication enters the dark, transformative depths of Scorpio. Expect some of you to feel a desire for more privacy and time alone, or when with others, you may crave intimacy and depth to your conversations.
October 27th - Mars enters Scorpio - Mars joins Mercury giving a gust of wind to our sails and perhaps some impatience for some. If you have Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius in your chart, expect the final days of October and start of November to be a busy and demanding time period.
