March begins with Venus stationing retrograde on the 2nd. This means the month takes on a slower pace, as we will enjoy a Mercury retrograde as well, from March 14th - April 7th. March is a month of transformation and more integration than February, which moved quickly and now we arrive at the last month before Spring in the northern hemisphere. There are invitations to really know yourself and be honest with yourself about where you still have walls around your heart.
We have the first eclipse of this year, on the 14th March in Uttara Phalguni nakshatra. This is an excellent nakshatra for partnerships and hard work. Mercury rules this eclipse and turns retrograde the day after, so there may be questions coming up for you, something you need to understand within, or clarify with those you are engaged with.
For the last couple weeks of March, the Sun, Venus and Mercury are all together in Uttara Bhadrapada nakshatra, the deepest portion of Pisces zodiac sign. This is an amazing time for deep transformation, dedication, devotion and strict discipline, as this nakshatra is ruthless about who and what you let into your world. It’s also the part of the sky where Venus is strongest, so there can be deep lessons around love, sexuality, money and ultimately what it means to truly live from the heart.

Key dates for the upcoming month…
March 2nd: Venus stations retrograde. This is a rare, bi-annual event that gives you an opportunity to integrate relationship lessons, return to a previous aesthetic or creative problem and find a solution. Whichever houses are ruled by Taurus or Libra in your chart will ask for attention.
March 7th + 8th: Sun trine Mars. These two days are great for enjoying greater confidence, and taking a proactive approach to your life. Take a risk, and put your back behind your goals on these days. If nothing else, enjoy a surge of dynamic energy.
March 11th - 12th: Sun conjunct Saturn. Time to get organised, and place necessary boundaries if your life calls for them. A productive time.
March 14th - Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. The first out of two eclipses for our first eclipse season of 2025.
March 18th - Sun enters Uttara Bhadrapada nakshatra. This is a deep and private constellation, where we can require more alone time, or space to enquire deep within ourselves. For anyone needing healing support and the energy to accelerate deep changes within, the Sun’s move into this nakshatra should help.
March 22nd + 23rd: Sun conjunct Venus retrograde. A New Venus cycle begins with Venus as morning star.
March 28th - New Moon, Solar Eclipse in Pisces. Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra.
March 29th - Saturn leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces for 2.5 years!
