Full Moon in Swati (Libra)

The Full Moon on April 23rd is in Libra in the vedic system, in the nakshatra of Swati. This is an independent, flighty nakshatra that is here to bring us back to our selves. If you followed my insights in March and April, you’ll know that the past few weeks have been very much centered on our relationships, and on compassionate communication with the other.
Mercury is still in compassionate Pisces until May 10th, so the theme of having healing conversations and recognising yourself in every soul you encounter will still be central for a few weeks, however this Full Moon is here to remind us of our independence, our ability to make things happen on our own, and the need for sovereignty.
Why? This Full Moon happens in Libra, but within the constellation ruled by Rahu. The deity is Vayu, the God of Wind. I documented every day the moon was in Swati in 2023, and sure enough the flags were blowing, the wind was howling, and the energy was stormy.
It’s a great full moon to cleanse in the days leading up to it, and remove the obstacles blocking your path. This Full Moon is here to help you get out of your own way.
